On April 13th – 15th, game developers and enthusiasts from across the UK will be heading to Tobacco Dock for EGX Rezzed. Part of the London Gaming Festival, EGX Rezzed is an event that focuses solely on indie games and organisers, Gamer Network, are currently looking for submissions for the SEGA-sponsored Leftfield Collection.
This showcase offers indie developers the chance to exhibit their game, free-of-charge, at the event but spaces are very limited, and the selection process is extremely competitive. If you are interested in submitting your game for inclusion in the collection you need to follow this link to the application form and fill it in. Applications close on January 19th.
Some of the games featured in the Leftfield Collection in 2017 include Vaccination, a game in which two players must work together to keep a patient alive against the onslaught of bacteria racing towards the patient’s heart using unique gameplay and gameboard, Four Last Things which is a point-and-click adventure which uses renaissance paintings and public domain classical music to create a very Monty Python-esque game and Chalo Chalo which is a racing game that focuses more on tactics and strategy and outsmarting your opponents rather than just speed and control.
Public tickets for the event are now on sale but if you are a developer and are interested in exhibiting, then head to the event website for further information. Projekt Indie will be at the event and we are looking forward to seeing you all!
